New SOTBMusic: MVP Mikey Strives to Keep That Same Energy Everywhere He Goes

It’s refreshing as hell to hear Baltimore artists who are diverse while still staying true to the city that helped make them into the artists you hear. I’ve had the pleasure of featuring some of these artists (for instance, Tate Kobang and the New Wave Order) on the site. MVP Mikey is another artist that follows this pattern of diverse but still hometown-repping energy we’ve gotten from the 410, 443, and 667 (yes, that’s a “new” Baltimore area code).

On the heels of “9 Lives,” which was previously featured via SOTBMusic, “Keep That Same Energy” has a lo-fi appeal to it that keeps the energy high. Its unfiltered mix of hard-hitting moments and vibes keep the same energy (pun intended) throughout the track. Check out “Keep That Same Energy” below and support dope music in all its forms.
