We’ve got a new artist alert on this one! Now, I don’t really publicize my Soundcloud accounts like that. However, one of my avid supporters there/fellow dope rhyme sayers, Rekap, has residence in my ears every time he drops new music. This one is a bit more pop-friendly than some of his other tracks, but the bars are still pretty dope. I’m a sucker for the Sonic 2 bonus stage sample, as it’s a pretty unique flip layered between heavy synths and bass. And, as mentioned, the bars presented, while a bit less lyrical assassin-like, still hit their marks and make for a catchy “I’m gonna make it” track.
