If you can reference anime in your raps and not have it say something like “I spit flames, Dhalsim” (Lupe aside, because “Yoga Flame” was fire), I’m usually here for it. Add that in with some catchy bars, a pretty solid video (I’m pretty sure the washing machines are symbolic of the repetitive nature that some relationships have when you’re looking for your queen and such), and a discussion on the games people play with our emotions and we’ve got Baltimore-based artist 7uca (pronounced “Look-kah”) and his newest visuals “womens.”

Featuring Kon Kyoshi, who I’ve never heard of but want to hear more of, the track clocks in at just under three minutes. However, within those three minutes, we get two sides of the coin. We get the man looking for the woman of his dreams and the guy who’s doing the same thing, but is more guarded in his approach. Both verses feature some pretty sweet wordplay and, again, I’m a sucker for dope-ass anime references.
