The usually dark Eso goes even deeper into the trenches for “The Loveless,” where he collaborates with Bromar to give us something that’s very trance-inducing. With the liberal use of Auto-Tune and speaker-erupting 808s, Eso gives us another look into his landscape, and it ain’t as pretty as the music’s vibes would suggest. I especially love the stutter effect employed for Eso’s vocals, as it adds another element of distortion that ultimately rewards the listener with some syrupy energy throughout this song.
