FreshfromDE wants to cut off the dead weight that’s keeping him from ascending. That’s something we can all relate to. And it’s that message that makes the catchy “They Just Wanna” work even more so. We all have dealt with hanger-ons, haters, et cetera, but some of us still just deal with them because of whatever. This track is for those who want to cut off the freeloaders but haven’t had the courage to do so just yet.

The production on this one, provided by Jus Clide, is heavy on emotion and heavy on darkness. Each bar over this track feels like Fresh has had enough of the foolishness and he’s at his wit’s end.
