JMSN returns to SOTBMusic with a sexy-sounding little ditty, “Talk Is Cheap,” which implores JMSN’s friend to put their money where their mouth is. The energy on this one feels like a neo-soul Jon B mixed with The Weeknd. However, it still distinctly feels like a JMSN track. His individuality shines through in a major way, down to the ad libs from Joey Fatts and the “Summer Madness” interpolation. This one seems destined to end up on a bunch of summertime playlists. If I was into that sort of thing heavy, I’d place this one on a playlist called “Sex with the Top Dropped.” Check out “Talk Is Cheap” below, be on the lookout for his upcoming Velvet album, and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
