Well, damn. Sorry for (light) cussin’, but TOPE just dropped one of the best songs of the year. Yes, I’m a Blu fan, but this one is just beautiful, as all three artists speak on what “faithful” and being such means to them. Plus, the gospel-heavy beat is a banger on its own. It’s like if Chance spit over West Coast boombap-infused hip-hop. Actually, that doesn’t do the track justice. TOPE sums up the vibes on this one best.

“The funny thing is I had this beat and chorus done for maybe 6 months before I sent it to Blu,” TOPE explains. “I was really just asking Blu if he liked the idea and he sent a full verse back in about 45 minutes! Once I heard that, I knew I had to get Ab Rude on it as well. Same thing, Ab hit me back the next day with a fire verse and no hesitation.”
