Sekiin’d Gerard Says “FXCKA:FORD”

Sekiin’d Gerard’s “FXCKA:FORD” sounds like the middle ground between Eminem’s harsh, horrorcore-era delivery and Tech N9ne’s mastery of lyrical melodic rap. The track, which had a video released in September, features Baltimore-area artist Vlad. Gerard is in a zone, rapping and harmonizing over a baroque-sounding beat by mai. His gruff delivery adds an extra punch to every bar; each punchline and line towards why he demands attention sounds like it could be his last, so we should savor it as if it was so.

The video itself is kind of trippy, utilizing tracking shots and topsy-turvy imagery to add to the dizzying track. If you missed out on it when it first dropped, like I did, here’s a chance to atone. Check out the video and project it appears on below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.

TL;DR

Sekiin’d Gerard’s “FXCKA:FORD” is gritty and lyrical.
