MISCHIFF’s Looking Out for His “Brothers” on New Track

Now, y’all know that I’m typically the type who avoids posting songs that have that “I’ma blast on anyone who fucks with my fam” energy to them. SpeedontheBeat.com tends to steer clear of overtly violent content, unless said violence has an explanation and/or a discussion of repercussions behind it. However, it was something about MISCHIFF’s latest track, “Brothers,” that made me make an exception. The NYC artist reminds me a bit of Roddy Ricch in how he utilizes multiple layered melodies to make a lush soundscape for a song about protecting his family from those who want to bring them harm. Additionally, the lyricism on display here had me nodding along with a few moments of “damn, let me rewind that again.” Overall, the song is a great summertime track because of its anthemic qualities. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
