Dax’s latest, “Suffocating,” is a track that bluntly talks about the price losses and wins have had on his mental. Between the wins and the losses, he worries if he’s started to lose sight of himself. This track is a response to that.

Because of this, it’s a beautifully dark song that’s aided by an incredible video–one that features Dax fighting against demons–both of his own creation and those created by him being in the industry, from succubi to hangers-on to literal backstabbers. It’s definitely worth a listen, mainly because the brother gives us his entire heart and soul on the track and says “screw you if you want me to do something else.”
