SO4P Presents The Diagnosis

SO4P’s “Old Image” is the first song on his The Diagnosis EP, which looks at his battles with mental health issues, self-discovery and personal growth. Being a person who’s also dealt with his fair share of mental health concerns–and has done his share of growing over the years–I felt this one because it details some of the vices SO4P found himself abusing to comfort and medicate himself, including promiscuous sexual activity and alcohol abuse.

I’ve been there. Hell, most of us have probably been there but don’t openly admit it. SO4P went there, stayed there, bought the shirt and lived to tell his story.

Thankfully, he lived to tell his story because the Diagnosis mini-movie is a beautiful mess. It’s one that shows the various stages of dealing with mental health issues. From diagnosis to treatment to continued growth as an artist and a person, SO4P showcases it all on his YouTube page.
