Let’s Talk A Bit About Decasi

I’m not normally the type who’ll post just beats over on the site. I tend to save production hits for my IG, since I’ve got a lot of producers who follow me. However, there’s something about Big Top Entertainment’s “Decasi” that grabbed ahold of my ears. I think that it’s because it reminds me a bit of a boombap track mixed with some coke rap. An apt comparison would be to think about Nas meeting Conway. Along with that, there are a few bars spat throughout to set the mood for the track. Essentially, the song does two things. First, it seemingly discusses the plight of many non-white males in our society and how some may view us as alien. It also makes a point to discuss the state of music as being full of copies.

I’m also a sucker for in-beat downpitches–something this beat has a lot of. Therefore, it got a post for those reasons. Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
