goodboy noah has been on my radar since the summer. With each release, the soulful singer grows and matures, becoming a more-complete artist. This one, “Treasure,” appears on his COOL EP, which dropped Friday. This one seems to be the culmination of his previous tracks wrapped into one smooth package. I guess you’ve got to be pretty smooth if you’re going to appear with your shirt open on your EP cover. Bad jokes aside, the track details how gbn strives to treat his special someone, well, special. They’ve dealt with foolishness and effboyisms for far too long in noah’s eyes, so he’s stepping up to the plate to provide some much-needed love and respect.

Throughout COOL, gbn has been trying to perfect and crack the code to his own sound, per a press release. I think he’s done a damn good job in doing so on this one. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
