This one gives me early Miguel vibes. I’m talking about when he was out here doing hooks for Blu on Below the Heavens and his pre-2016 stuff. It’s smooth, sexy and straightforward all at once. The brother wants his lover to come with him and just vibe, maybe even do some “and chilling” while they’re at it. It’s one of those songs that most people can relate to because we all want to be loved in the best way possible. We also want that “and chill” time more often than not. I love the production on “Say Less,” as it has a distinct neo-soul feel to it (hence the early Miguel comparisons). It’s a bit crazy that this one is two years old and just receiving its just due these days. Guess it goes to show you that good music is evergreen.
