British/Singaporean R&B singer JVSMINE has been known for smooth vocals and soul-baring lyrics. Her latest, “No Regrets” from her Floating EP, continues this. The project itself was brought together through lockdown Zoom sessions with her co-writer. What she wanted to do was show that, while no one really knows what they’re doing in life, we’re all in the process of figuring it out.

“No Regrets,” according to the singer, came from a “sad place within [herself].” She was at the point where she was unable to love or trust many people. Through a healing process that included writing and recording this song, she’s been able to grow and possibly love and trust people. Plus, as she mentioned, “it’s a…tune you can just chill and groove to.” The visuals are pretty cool as well, as the find the songstress isolated until she finds herself and finds some inner peace.
