Over a beat that sounds a bit like Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams” (I believe it interpolates the same Sting song), MiCCFlame’s production debut is solid. It’s the lyrics we’re here for, though, as the LA-born artist spits some dope lyricism about how he’s elevating above the naysayers and people who want to keep him down. He’s showing that he’s grown since his early days and is about his own growth versus just staying stagnant. I’m also a fan of the chorus, as it reminds me of a Kendrick hook because of the harmonizing Flame applies. It’s a solid track, one that’s slated to appear on Flame’s upcoming EP, Legion.
This is great for an artist who just started releasing songs not too long ago. Check out “No Batteries” below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.

Great review to have any comparison to such talented and loved artist means Soo much
