Well, where do I start on this one? It’s beautiful and melodic, speaking on the infancy of a relationship and the feelings that come up because of that infancy. Will you hide from your feelings or embrace them fully? Will you lust after this person or tell them how you feel? These are two questions that come up at various points over the artistically-sound song. The way that there’re warring opinions and thoughts reminds me a bit of an Aaliyah track at her best, sort of like a slowed-down version of “Try Again.” Sonically, the AamirMusic-produced track also brings up images of Solange and SZA throughout its runtime.
