This one is another “Hey Ya!”-esque song. It sounds very poppy and upbeat, but delves deep into hopeless infatuation in the age of the technological romance. Read: they’re talking about the craziness of computer love and Tindering. While online dating is, at some points, a necessary evil, it also removes parts of the human element of dating and love. When all you’ve got to do to “match” with someone is swipe right versus chatting them up in person (pre-and-post-COVID, mind you), you’re pretty much leaving it all up to chance even more than in-person love and in-person discussions on love and the future. I like this one and hope to hear more from the duo, so if you’re like me, you know what to do. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
