I’m a big fan of this one because of the production, a bouncy beat crafted by Krafty Kuts, UK producer extraordinaire. When this sort of beat is presented to a competent MC, you’ll get a good song. When it’s presented to an MC that’s a legend in their field, such as drum & bass pioneer Dynamite MC, you’ll get a great song. And that’s what “The Remedy” is: a great song that’s a bit unlike what I’d usually post on the site. That’s because it’s a bit more celebratory than most tracks featured here–and that’s what makes it unique. I love the beat and I love Dynamite’s flow over the beat.
