Philly rapper Goldmine has been making some amazing headway over the last few months. The 20-year-old indie rapper has opened up for Grammy-nominated artist Flo Rida in Philadelphia. He’s been making some great strides as an artist and as an individual.
However, Goldmine started doing what most of us do when we see success. He got inside his own head.
“Go Left” is the result of that getting inside of his head, as it deals with how one’s state of mind may not match the positives that they have going on around them. It’s a chill introspective track that reminds me of a Mac Miller or a Joey Bada$$. The guest spot on here, helmed by fellow Philly artist Nicky Ra, works well because they’ve got some great chemistry–as if they’ve been friends for their entire lives.
