Canadian artist J-Geezy has been on my radar since his take on “Glory.” On “Night Divine,” he chops and flips his own song (rather, his take on “O Holy Night”) into something like a banger. Lyrically, Geezy is sound and contains a lot of Christmas/giving spirit within his bars. Sonically, the beat is a banger because of the chipmunk sample and the drums. Overall, it’s the type of Christmas jam that can get stuck in your head as you’re doing last-minute shopping or chilling with your fam.

I like the production here, because it’s rare to strike paydirt twice, within a month’s time, with elements of the same song. That’s some next-level sampling and I’m here for it.
