Raelle’s “Grace” Feels Like a Mix Between Sade and Ella Mai

Above, we’ve got the latest from UK singer/songwriter Raelle. As the title of this post suggests, it blends Ella Mai’s bluntness with Sade’s rich vocals and worldliness and manages to find a happy medium between the two. There’re not a group of profanities like you’d expect in an Ella Mai song about moving up and on. However, it’s also not as squeaky clean or optimistic as quite a few Sade songs are. Instead, there’s a beautiful medium between the artists’ styles. There’s a darkness to everything, but there’s also a hope to move up and above Raelle’s current predicament. The young Jamaican-English singer’s ability to discuss what she wants to be her “grace” in a world of fakes and foolishness, I’m definitely here for. I love her vocals and I think that she has a bright future ahead of her. Check out the vocals for “Grace” above and support dope music in all its forms.
