Philly G Says You Can’t Blow O’s With “No Smoke”

Boston-based hip-hop artist Philly G’s “No Smoke” captures the raw emotion that comes with being an indie artist who’s trying to make it and be better than he was yesterday. Additionally, it’s a story of an indie artist in the age of pandemics, social justice and the 2020s. Things aren’t easy, at all. That said, they could still be a lot worse. So, we keep pushing and making ourselves better than we were the day or week before.

It’s that can-do attitude that differentiates Philly G from some other indie artists from the same cloth. He’s not giving up, opting to keep smoking the competition and the opposition until he can’t blow a ring around his naysayers. I like it. Scratch that, I love it.
