The intro track from Clipse’s Son of Luna project, “Elephant in the Room” is a heavy track. Be it because of the bluesy beat, the harsh realities presented in the song or Clipse’s lyrics, this one hits different than some other songs I’ve featured on SOTB recently. It’s a powerful song, one that hopes to motivate people who look like me and Clipse to stand up and be better–even in the face of a world that, more often than not, doesn’t want us to be great.
