Terri Green Presents the Soulful “Caught Up”

DC native Terri Green’s “Caught Up” has a throwback sort of feel to it; that’s not to say it’s vintage, but it’s got that feel-good, “I’m in love and I want people to know about it” sort of feel to it. That energy is appreciated, since it’s a nice contrast to some of the other R&B songs I’ve featured on the site recently. Terri Green’s vocals will grab you if you’re a fan of Lalah Hathaway or Ledisi. However, they’re still their own vibe as well, showing range and a bevy of emotion from the veteran singer. This is Green’s first solo single after performing backing vocals for various other artists; she started her career as a member of the Eurodance group 2 Eivissa. Check this one out and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
