An introspective song about self–and what it means to know oneself–“Who Am I?!” asks that question and tries to answer it in an efficient manner. Problem is, and this is no slight to the song, there are things that even the most-awakened of us have hidden underneath the surface. It sometimes can get to the point that we know about as much about ourselves as everyone else does. The point of the song is to delve deeper, even if it hurts. That’s because, if you do this, you’ll know what makes you unique, how to protect that against any negativity (even if it’s self-imposed) and just how to maintain some semblance of peace in a world that’d rather see you crack under pressure and take people down with you.
