Week Four of jonnychang’s The Weather Inside finds the rhymesayer being a cheerleader for the person who sometimes needs to be cheered on the most: himself.

Continuing the storyline of the previous visuals, “Own Self” finds jonny up against some of his demons again (like at the end of part one of the series). Instead of trying to avoid them, he confronts them and uses their powers for his own gain. That, in some ways, comes in a twist that’s part AJ Mendez’s Crazy is My Superpower and part “I’m grown, I’m in control of my own destiny.” Either way you want to slice it, jonny is a helluva artist and a helluva visualizer to put together artworks like this just to speak on himself and his struggles.
