Cassius Thompson Presents “Mile High”

Below, we’ve got the latest from rapper Cassius Thompson, the bombastic “Mile High” from his sophomore album, No Paradise, which released recently on all DSPs. I like this one because, lyrically, it reminds me of Big KRIT and production-wise sounds like a mix between The Neptunes and something you’d hear Cole or later-era Nas on. In other words, it’s boombappy and straight-to-the-point in some ways and bouncy and high-energy in others. The vibe of the song is pretty solid as well, as it’s kind of a go-getter’s anthem. If you’re in the mood for some motivation on this Wednesday, check the track out below, give No Paradise a listen, and support dope music in all its forms.
