Alpha Hugo Says “Eff Cancer” and Lives for the Moment on “Cancer Symptoms”

Below, we’ve got the latest song from Atlanta-area artist Alpha Hugo, the candid “Cancer Symptoms.” Dedicated to his own plight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, the video and song finds the artist coming to terms with life, growing up in the face of a dark diagnosis and saying “if I die, I’m going to die doing what I love, not afraid of what’s to come.” I love the perseverance Hugo presents on this song, as I’ve seen quite a few people I know and love deal with cancer and its ugliness. Plus, the song itself is a bass-knocking anthem for those who’ve been down and out, but refuse to give up. Check out the visuals below and support dope music in all its forms. Also, like I always say: “f*** cancer. I don’t care what the question is, that’s always the answer.”
