When I got this one, the words “summer banger” came to mind. That’s partly because that’s the phrase Chillmonday used to describe the track, but also because it’s a banger. It’s got all the needed ingredients for a hit. There’s so much to enjoy about this track, from the production to the vocals to the overall energy of it. It’s the exact opposite of their collaboration “Drunk Texting,” which was featured on SOTB several months back as part of Vol. 2 of Quickies (go revisit that post now).
