That is, it makes clear that this isn’t the same version of the artist people may’ve seen before. In other words, he’s been through the trial and is dawning a new era of himself.

I didn’t know CACO at that point, but I’m glad I know him now. The brother’s got bars for days and a wiser-beyond-his-years sort of swagger to him.
