888moment Tackles Instrumentals and Synthpop with “death again”

A song that’s unlike anything we’ve heard from 888moment in the past, “death again” is like a mix of 80s synthpop, 90s hip-hop and 2020s indie/alt-pop. Plus, the instrumental is one that screams “don’t (just) rap over me, just enjoy my vibes.” And enjoy, I did with this one.

I took a shot (yes, of tequila) and vibed with it for just under two-and-a-half minutes. It’s one of those tracks that’s driving and profound but also bouncy and a bop. Sonically, I could hear a Weeknd-esque artist on the production. However, once the lyrics and melodies kick in, you’re taken on a ride that’s part “bad trip” and part “we’re going to be better tomorrow” vibes.
