Cadeem LaMarr hit my line to introduce his upcoming track, “Countin,” to me. Through pure happenstance, I came across his track “Channel 3” instead. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I mean, I know “Countin” is going to be a bop. After all, Cadeem has never missed his mark in the time I’ve been aware of his music. However, I initially missed “Channel 3” when it first dropped at the end of August. Blame it on a Something to Tide You Over-related blitzkrieg of energy. Anyway, “Channel 3” is bouncy, it’s energetic as hell and it features Cadeem dropping rapid-fire bars over a futuristic-sounding beat. In other words, it’s what you’d expect from this sort of track. I like the alt-rap production and the flow’s also a work of beauty.
