Mak Ro Presents “Good”

Better late than never, I always say. This is especially true for the latest from duo Mak Ro, “Good.” “Good” is a song that “takes us to church” while letting go of the past and not overthinking the future. I needed this one when I first heard it and needed it today–as I’ve been overthinking about some things. Thankfully, I’ve got a shawty who keeps me grounded, loves me unconditionally and has taught me to let go and grow, even when it hurts. Sonically, the Filipino-American cousins are, as always, vocally strong and potent. The production is very laidback as well, which allows the message to just wash over you.
