Drea Speaks on a “honeymoon vacation”

Drea is a singer/songwriter out of Boston (so you know she’s got some legit soul in her; she’s from the City of New Edition). Her new song, “honeymoon vacation,” feels like a mix between Mariah-esque lyrics (circa the “Touch My Body”/”Obsessed” era) that are playful and offer up “steamy escapism too good to resist” (but also have a bit of a dark undercurrent). and a smooth, mellow voice. The song itself is about the narrator being involved within a toxic relationship, one that had some great moments interspersed between the BS. However, the narrator has had enough and she’s moving on, though it’s a bit bittersweet. Sonically, the production (which Drea handled herself) feels like a Lana Del Rey song Check out the song below and support dope music in all its forms.
