Twenty-something Tel Aviv-based singer/songwriter/producer Shaked Miller’s making her debut on SOTB. “Get the Girl” is, well, about Miller trying to get the girl. It’s a simple premise (girl likes girl, girl is a bit terrified of being rejected, girl still musters up the courage to give it a try). However, it’s executed in a way that’s quite lovely. I love the fact that her song is exactly like she described it: it sounds like “Mac Miller and Amy Winehouse’s love child.” Check out “GTG” below and support dope music in all its forms.
