A song about knowing one’s self-worth after dealing with hurt and trauma, “Not Interested” lays it all out there from MVTE (pronounced like “mute”), a newcomer to SOTB. She’s not interested in anything that doesn’t appeal to her soul and her mind. And I, for one, am here for that sort of energy. She reflects on “chasing after” people, then becoming just “like the hoes” later on. However, being a “ho” doesn’t mean one can’t find their self-worth (or have self-worth to begin with). She’s just saying that she’s past all of that at this point, as she’s not really looking for love or lust. She’s going to take some time and focus on the “me” in her life.
