j dreaming has submitted a few songs to me. With each song, I felt that he’s gotten closer to what I want out of an artist. His first track was too short, the second one was decent but didn’t fully move me. However, on “Like That,” neither complaint holds any weight. It’s a bit of Cole in flow and lyrics and a bit of Lecrae on its lyrics as well. What I mean by that is that the song is spiritual without being divisive and conscious without being “I’ll beat you over the head with knowledge.” Instead, the Georgia native just lets his emotions and soul glow (without, of course, the Soul Glo…and I’ll see myself out right here) and it just creates incredible music.
