Regan Aliyah Speaks About “Fall[ing] in Love” with LA on New Song

Los Angeles is a very diverse city. I haven’t gone there–yet. However, I see people of all races, shapes, sizes, orientations, etc. when I see LA. Regan Aliyah’s “Fall in Love” is a song that personifies the City of Angels and showcases why it’s a beautiful city. Additionally, Aliyah’s bars, flow and metaphor game went crazy here. That sort of thing is always a lovely sight. The actress/singer has a Lauryn Hill-meets-Doja Cat feel to her bars and delivery, which makes her stand out in my eyes. That’s because she can mix joyfulness and consciousness into a hometown anthem.

This one, for me, is special from a bars and flow perspective. I say that because I usually don’t post songs that are less than three minutes; this is a rare one. I also think that she can go far, simply because she’s got bars (mine have gone a bit below par…these days). Additionally, I love the soulful and bouncy instrumental. It reminds me of a neo-soul track mixed with chilled wine and mellow-but-upbeat hip-hop. Check out the song and support dope music in all its forms.
