So…Gucci and Future linked up for an EP. It’s exactly what you’d expect from an EP from Gucci and Future. If you fuck with Gucci and Future teaming up to drop shit, you’re gonna like it. If you needed a follow-up to the first Free Bricks project, you’re gonna like it. If you like trap rap and Zaytoven and Metro beats, you’re gonna like it. If you’d rather be stay away from ratchet rap, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s as simple as that.

The songs here are for the fans, not for the folks who’d probably never really be tempted to pick up a Gucci or Future album in the first place. And, for real? That’s why it works. It’s not a perfect project, and I’ll be honest. I’ve heard better from both artists…this year. But, it works because it doesn’t try to be anything other than an EP for Gucci and Future fans.
