Look, this four-track project has Wayne spitting bars and spitting flames without indulging as much in his Auto-Tune Weezy persona. That’s great, since I’m always for Wayne dropping bars. To be honest, this is probably the hungriest I’ve heard Wayne in a while–which is, also, a good thing. However, there’s something that keeps me from saying that he’s full-on back at it. It could just be that, at the flip of a switch, he could go back into Auto-Tune Weezy and drone on about syrup, molly, and pussy.
But, for now, I’m rocking with this and I’m going to trust in Tune and hope that he continuously delivers dope music. So, rock with this with me and continue to support dope music in all its forms.
