Dolla$ignDunn comes with something that feels like Comeback Season meets Dreams and Nightmares with a great deal of Cam’Ron mixed in for good measure. There’s something backpacky about the bars, but there’s grit attached as well within the six-track EP. That could be because of the grimy beats and the way D$D delivers his bars. You’re put right into the darkness going on in Dunn’s life and surroundings, but you’re given a glimpse of light as well. None of the vignettes overstay their welcome, giving us a look into each situation and then fading into the next. However, they still leave us wanting more from each.
