SOTBMusic: Ano Bank$ Drops Luh Elephant EP

Ano Bank$ has an Amine-meets-Bryson Tiller with a splash of Jeremih sort of thing about him. He can sing, he can rap, but he prefers to blend the two genres into an infectious and fresh trapsoul-esque energy. His latest project, Luh Elephant, finds the Chicago native busting out smooth melodies and lyrics about love, life, and just being himself.

Bank$ describes the project as a bop, and it’s hard to say it isn’t full of those. Luh Elephant is equal parts playful and serious. It often alternates between the two in the same song to deliver a view into Bank$’s soul, not just his trapsoul. The slow burner “Splash Waterfalls 2” gives us an homage to Ludacris’ classic track, but adds its own spin on the “let’s get it in” energy Luda made famous in the 2000s. Check out the project below via Soundcloud and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
