SOTBMusic: Asante Farid and 6ix Cheese Want the “Glory”

Asante Farid has been on a roll these last few months, hitting a stride that’s produced some dope tracks. His latest, “Glory,” featuring fellow Eso Experiencer 6ix Cheese, comes with a video that’s equal parts “Seven Deadly Sins” and big boss shit. The duo is definitely in their element and in their bag on this Kaz the God production. They float and glide over the mystical-sounding beat like two specters haunting the game for passing up on them beforehand.

As with the visuals, the lyrical content also walks the line between spiritual and secular. The duo opts to differentiate between the two and state “just because I’m spiritual doesn’t mean I won’t dirty my hands for my bros.” I found myself bobbing along with the flows as well as the lyricism on display.

Farid’s “nukes into a shootout” bar is probably the best way to describe this track. It didn’t need to go as hard as it did. However, if it didn’t, it probably wouldn’t have caught my attention. So, win-win. Check out the visuals below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
