Anyone who knows my gaming preferences, they’ll know I’m a huge fan of Persona 5. I’ve spoken about that on the site a few times. However, last year’s These Beats of Mine 3 failed to live up to my lofty expectations for an SOTB beat tape. In all honesty, it was kind of a lazy effort. It could’ve been because of COVID and being exhausted from everything changing in early 2020. It could’ve also been that I was surprised by the feedback for TBOM 2 that I lost sight of what made TBOM tapes worth their weight in audio gold. Hell, it could’ve just been that I rushed the project. Regardless the reason, it wasn’t the love letter I wanted it to be. Refusing to go out sad, I decided to revamp the project as, essentially, the Persona 5 Royal of TBOM tapes.

The cover art is above. It’s simple, but reflects some of the aesthetic of Persona 5 in the red and my silhouette referencing both this week’s For My N.I.G.G.A.S. (due out Friday on most DSPs) as well as P5 marketing materials. I think that the beats should speak more than the cover art in this instance. I hope you enjoy the beat tape as much as I enjoyed making it. Please support the official release of P5, P5R and P5S and pray ATLUS and Sega like what I did.
