Above, we’ve got the latest visuals from rapper/recent viral sensation Kosha Dillz. “Is It Me” is a great track, for a few reasons. For starters, it knows what it is: a lyrically-sound turn up track that’s meant to broaden a listener’s horizons. On the track, Dillz delivers jabs at haters in a calm, almost reserved, manner. The only times we hear him raise his voice would be when he somewhat nasally tells his opposition that their issue is really within and not with him.
I feel that Dillz doing so on the hook leads to the song being as fun as it is lyrically impressive. Clearly, the man named Kosha Dillz is living his best life on this song and others.

What grabs me is that he reminds me, on this song, of a Lil Dicky if Dicky wasn’t obsessed with frat boy humor more often than not. Now, there’s a time and place for that. Dicky is a solid rapper, as I’ve admitted once upon a time ago. But there’s also a time and place to show and prove your penmanship and prove you belong just as much as anyone else does. Dillz does that here while not losing touch with his community or his wittiness. Overall, it’s one that could make you a fan if you haven’t heard of him before. But it’s also one where long-standing fans could find something and say “wow, I never thought he’d do this.”
