Zay Lewis Looks for the Sunbeam

Zay Lewis’ “Sunbeam” reminds me of what’d happen if Big KRIT produced the beat, instrumental-wise. Lyrically, it sounds like if that same KRIT beat was for an artist who sounds like a mix between Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott. In other words, it’s a bass-heavy song that should make you nod your head as much as it makes you have the screwface like “oh snap, this is fire.”

Sunbeam, within its just-under-three-minute runtime, manages to state who he is, why you should give him an ear, and why he’s where he’s at now. It’s a solid track, one that lends itself well to a late-night ride through the city. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
