Lex Lakaiser’s “Who I Am” features the NC rapper putting himself into the shoes of a vampire. Yes, I know spooky szn is kind of over since Halloween was yesterday. That said, the lyricism and the storytelling on this one kept me entertained but also entranced. I wanted to know where the story would go next. I wanted to see whether our newly-minted vampire would go along with his darkened path or would he end it as soon as he got the urge to kill? Without giving too much away, the conceptual track has a slightly surprising ending. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
