KXNG Crooked and Kut One Say “Take a Picture” on Latest Cut

US meets Melbourne, Australia as KXNG Crooked and producer Kut One collaborate on “Take a Picture.” Crooked gives us hard bars and cutting lyrics, such as “Barack of the Block, but I don’t fuck with politicians,” to showcase why he’s still one of the best out. This one is a trunk-rattler while also being woke and able to discuss intellectual things

Two things I’ve always liked about KXNG Crooked are as follows. First, he’s conscious without lording his intelligence over his listeners’ heads like some artists in that category. I hate that because it usually feels like those types of artists are insulting their listeners. On the other hand, he’s gritty and street without always rapping about how he’s going to spaz out and kill the opps. There’s a place for murdering your opponents lyrically (or, should it be that way, otherwise). However, it shouldn’t be/can’t be every damn track. “Take a Picture” is a solid song, one made that much better by Kut One’s production–which sounds like some vintage West Coast rap.

The song is dope as hell, so check it out and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
