Limón Limón Presents Honey Blossom

On a song that reminds me of a mix between Sade and Silk Sonic, duo Limón Limón discuss their idea of a perfect partner and the perfect way to get lost within said partner’s love. The vocalist, Jason, sounds a bit like a combination and Bruno Mars and Mac Ayres as he flutters over the instrumentation handled by himself and duomate Rand. This is the first time I’ve come in contact with Limón Limón. That said, they’ve done enough here to make me want to hear more from them. More than enough, actually, considering I’m writing about this one on a Sunday afternoon when football season is running wild like Hulkamania–minus the overt racism.

“Honey Blossom” is a so silky and smooth, you could play it in a bedroom playlist and a wake up one and it wouldn’t feel out of place on either. It’s a damn near perfect mix of soul and and R&B energies. Don’t take my word for it, though. Check it out for yourselves and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
